Happy 5 year Anniversary to US!

So this is a picture of Brad and I on our very first date. I was 16 and he was 17 but a senior and I a sophomore in high school. On this date he introduced me to everyone for the evening as my sister and I accidentally gave him a bloody nose. This picture was taken in 2000. Crazy to think we have known each other for so long but only been married for five years.

If you really know us you have heard us tell our story; so I will not bore you with the he said and she did stuff. Just know that we could not be more thrilled to have each other.

Happy Five Year Anniversary Babe!

CALIFORNIA--BIRTHDAY

So my sister flew me to California for my birthday! This birthday was a big deal to me because it is the first birthday in two years where I have not been pregnant on my birthday! My sis was too generous and too kind. She made me awesome cupcakes for my birthday cake.(Do not be confused, she made me cupcakes not a turkey dinner, hahaha) We stayed at a hotel so she got a break from her kids also. We got mani's and pedi's. We went running and ate so much good food! My favorite foods..... (in no particular order) In n' Out Burger, Paradise Bakery Cookies, Cheesecake Factory Santa Fe Salad, Cheesecake Factory Adams Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple cheesecake....and DIET COKE! And a new favorite... BLT PIZZA from California Pizza Kitchen!

We also had a chance to do some light shopping, we laid on the beach and went to the Newport Beach Temple.

This weekend was such a treat because we had no schedule to keep except for what we wanted to do. No rushing to get home for naps or diapers to change. We could sleep through the entire night. It was an absolute dream. I felt like a real adult! THANK YOU EMILY FOR A PERFECT BIRTHDAY TREAT!

I must give a HUGE THANKS to my husband and my bro in law for watching our kids. We married some of the best men. Thank you Brad!!!

Merry Christmas!

This year we spent Christmas in Spokane. It was nice to be home and to enjoy family!
The one down side was I hit a deer in our new car when we were home. Luckily it was only me in the car. The car and I did not incur too much damage. The deer however had its leg broken and was later shot by the man who witnessed the whole thing. Crazy part was he said he was going to eat the deer. He literally was going to eat road kill. (Well to each their own. Ha-ha-ha!)

It is good to be back in Seattle though and settling in for the New Year. We are grateful for the challenges of this last year; a new job, moving, a new baby, death of a loved one, and passing the CPA exam. We have learned a lot and have grown so much closer together as a small family unit as well as a companionship! But we do hope 2012 has a little less stress! Happy New Year!
