Grace Elizabeth Ashby

So on the day that I went into labor I also had a baby shower thrown for me and another girlfriend by the ladies in our ward. It was funny how women were asking me how I had been feeling and I told them " well, actually I think I might be in labor I have had contractions all day" No one seemed to believe me.
 The lovely hosts
Last pregnant pic... 38.5 weeks pregnant

We had arrived at the hospital at 5:00 pm and Grace was born at 7:51 pm on
August 13, 2013, weighing 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long
 Proud Grandparents
The boys were so excited to meet Grace, especially Jonny. David has caught on that he is no longer the baby and has voiced his opinion about this.
Grammy Hawkins arrived and has been a huge help ever since.
Worlds best nurse right here. She reminded me so much of my Grandma Newman
and was so good in helping me.
 On our way home!
The night before we had an FHE lesson about baby sister coming and how we should act when she got here etc. Then we drew pictures of our favorite things or of what we would like to share with Grace. Grace shares a room with the boys and they were so excited to see her in her crib.

Daddy got mommy and Grace big and baby roses. Well played Brad!
And this has been our last week! Sleep, sleep, sleep!

Trying to keep the boys busy!
The grandparents said they wore the boys out at the park and etc. Sure you did.

KINDERING GRADUATION 2013

The Kindering Center is a birth to age three center that is a not for profit organization helping children and infants with special needs. Jonathan attended the center and therapists came to our home for a good years worth providing speech therapy, occupational therapy and preschool for Jonny. They have been an absolute life saver for us as a family. They have a graduation once a year and we were able to attend and celebrate Jonny and all of the growth that he has made!

KPMG Family Night- SEATTLE AQUARIUM

Yay for face painting, dinner, a free ride on the new Ferris-wheel and free admission to the Seattle Aquarium. Brad really has enjoyed working for KPMG and we as a family had a great night together!
The octopus was out and showing off.

The boys loved the hands on approach to the star fish!

Glow sticks are always a hit! And yes that is three car seats across our middle row in our car!

As of late. . .

Just trying to lay low being so pregnant. So it is the simple joys that have made the summer fun for us, like playing in a mud puddle caused by the sprinklers. I love these boys more than anything.
I asked them to give me a funny face and this is what I get. . . tongues!

Playing with cousin Sydney. (It was a coincidence the superman shirts.)

32 weeks and counting!

Ready for our little girl to get here! 32 weeks

4th of July!

So after the week we had with the Hawkins Family we then spent the next week with the Ashby's at their cabin in Newport WA, (AKA: Diamond Lake.)
This is pretty much what we did all week. Played in the water and vegged. The boys went to bed early on the fourth and I was lame and took no pictures of fireworks or anything but we did have a nice holiday!

This last picture is of the Janda Family kids. Brad's sister Suzi and her husband Brian are the ones that live in AZ and this last weekend they came over to Seattle to say hello on a mini road trip. COUSIN LOVE!

Hawkins Family Reunion 2013

So the week after the wedding we were able to spend with everyone on the Hawkins side for a little family reunion. I would put more pics up but I do not have any others as of yet. But the week was pretty awesome! It started out with my brother's Bishop bringing his pony over so the kids had a pony ride and a carnival night for FHE. We went to get our nails done (the women) and out to lunch. The men went golfing, cycling, running and had a tennis tournament. Then we had an adult only night out to a nice dinner. Also, we went to Riverfront park and swam at the house, played ping pong and yada yada the list continues. It was so nice to have a break from everyday life.

 SUPER BOYS!

My sister and sister in laws threw me a baby shower at my girlfriends restaurant. It was a lot of fun!

Three out of the five of Brad's sisters were able to attend as well as
his mom and four nieces.
