Well, our little guy has started kicking. It is so fun to feel him inside of me. It makes all this chubbiness worth it.
He is most active in the morning. When I am sitting at work and eating my breakfast he really starts to wake up and the kicking begins. It is so fun!
They say, that once the mom can feel the baby it takes about a month for the husband to feel it. I am so excited to now be more than half way through.
22 weeks and counting. I have to admit... it is a little daunting to think that I am closer to labor and delivery now than I am to conception.
Just a fun little update! Pictures to come soon!

ITS A BOY...
Well this past friday we went for my 19 week ultrasound and found out we are having a baby boy! I thought it was a boy from the get go. Brad is glad that he is able to pass on the Ashby name, and is thrilled to have a friend to watch football with. Our baby is healthy as is mommy. We are just glad the heat of the summer is slowly going away.
As you can see by the picture I am not showing very much. The doctor said to give it time. I am measuring at nineteen weeks but the baby is measuring at twenty weeks of development. So he may come sooner than the January 30th due date.
We will keep you all posted!
*We would love any help with baby names by the way*

Round Three...
This last week Brad began his last year of law school! ( BLESSED DAY!) I think him and I will both be glad when school is over. Brad is still working for the estate planning firm that he had a job with over the summer and he will also be doing an externship for a tax court judge this fall.
Needless to say, he is busy!
We are moving to a new apartment this coming weekend! Another blessed event, as we are tired of our current apartment and always welcome change in scenery. We will still be in our currrent ward. Which is a huge blessing.
Just thought we would give a quick update.
I am 17 weeks and two days pregnant, and am thrilled for September 4th to role around as that is when we find out the sex of the baby. We will keep you posted. TRUST ME!

LIZ'S GRADUATION
University of Phoenix Stadium

Commencement

Pictures Afterward

Graduation was awesome. Like any graduation it was long and hot and too many people. But awesome because I finally felt relieved that my accomplishment of higher education was done with.
It was AWESOME to have my sister and her family here, what a wonderful surprise. And to have Suzi and Brian Janda (Brads sister) is always fun!
After graduation we went out to Olive Garden and we met up with our friends the Crandalls there as well. All the festivities took the majority of the day. I then came home and crashed, I was so tired. Being pregnant and being in the heat (114 degrees) and running around town can wipe a women out. It was GREAT though. Thank you to Emily and Nate, Suzi and Brian, Landon and Kaylene and most of all BRAD!
